Program: Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics The AIM Ph.D. program at the University of Michigan is an interdisciplinary doctoral program focused on applied mathematics. It allows students to pursue research that bridges mathematics and other disciplines, guided by co-advisors from both mathematics and a partner field. Who Can Apply? Prospective Ph.D. students with strong academic backgrounds in mathematics or related quantitative fields.
